I've worked as a fractional Head of Data, a Lead Data Specialist, and a Lead Product Analyst. Some engagements are building a data function from almost nothing; others are joining a team that already has one, as the senior pair of hands on the hard problems. The companies differ in size and stage, but they share one thing: they are too serious about their data to wing it.

My retainers run for years rather than weeks. Most clients keep me on well past the original brief, long enough to live with the choices I make and to be treated as part of the team rather than a vendor flown in for a quarter.

Data analyst since 2018, independent since 2021, full-time on Enter the BI since 2023. I've worked across SaaS, EdTech, fintech, mobile gaming, e-commerce, online pharma, creative agencies, and enterprise. The breadth is intentional. Most data problems repeat across industries; the tooling is what shifts.

Most engagements combine architecture, building, hiring, and knowing when a request for a dashboard is really a request for a metric definition. I build the warehouse, the dashboards, the automated pipelines, and the AI layer, and the product analytics on top: the experiments, the retention and funnel work that shows what is actually driving the numbers. Then I stay to maintain it.

Almost always, it's just me. When a project needs a skill I don't carry, like front-end build, or the timeline is genuinely tight, I bring in operators from a network I trust, and only ever with your agreement first. They work under my oversight, never as a hand-off. I stay accountable for everything, and you always get me on calls.

I'm independent of software vendors and recommend tech purely on the merit of the tool for your problem.
