Enterprise Supply chain Cultural transformation

Building a data-driven culture

Multinational with data scattered in text and Excel files, inconsistent KPIs across regions. Migrated everything to a real warehouse and rebuilt the metric language.

The client

A multinational with regional teams operating on different systems, struggling with productivity, decision-making, and identifying new opportunities.

The problem

Inefficient data management. Lack of insights from data. Data stored in non-scalable text or Excel files. Inconsistent and outdated reports. Confusing KPI definitions measured differently in different systems and regions.

What I did

  • 01.Restructured the data management processes and implemented BI tools to turn data into valuable insights for management.
  • 02.Acted as a liaison between regional teams (working on different systems) and executive management to redefine core metrics across supply chain, finance, and customer service.
  • 03.Migrated all data stored in text files into Azure SQL Data Warehouse, with automated pipelines refreshing in daily batches.
  • 04.Took over the governance of 15 weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, ensuring they are scalable and always up-to-date.
  • 05.Restructured and centralised core data-driven processes (customer satisfaction metrics, capacity planning) so different departments speak the same language.
  • 06.Introduced a new KPI system so main stakeholders have a clear view of company performance regardless of region or underlying system.

InteractiveThe problem, made concrete

Same metric. Three regions. Three answers.
